Member of Parliament for North Tongu and  Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has disclosed that the committee is nearing completion of its work and will soon submit its report to President John Dramani Mahama.   According to him, the committee has been tasked with promoting accountability and ensuring that government officials are held to high ethical standards.

Speaking to Citi News, the popular lawmaker made known that the committee has so far received over 700 petitions from the public."We are still compiling all the cases and we will be presenting our report to the president soon.

What I can tell you, avoiding specifics, is to say that so far, in terms of the petitions that have come in, they are over 700, and it has been really such a daunting task, but there is the political will," he  stated.

Hon Okuzeto Ablakwa went on to  emphasize the committee's commitment to fairness and accountability, drawing attention to the continuity of their passion for addressing corruption, both in opposition and in government. "We are all passionate about this.
