A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders, Robert Ajene has blamed disrespectful Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the party's defeat in 2024.
He is of the view that if Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a listening ear as president, the NPP wouldn't have lost the election woefully as it did.
Robert Ajene cited the President's failure to listen to his Members of Parliament when they complained about Ken Ofori Atta's performance as finance minister as one of the many instances where the President failed his political party.
