KICK For Water, an initiative to help promote access to potable and safe drinking water through soccer and entertainment, was yesterday launched in Accra.
Launched by Kick 4Street Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, also seeks to provide clean water to vulnerable communities across the country.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kick 4Street Foundation, Mr Charles Adu, emphasised that accessing clean water was a fundamental human right to every citizen living in the country.
Therefore, to safeguard this right, he said everyone needed to work together collectively in order to ensure water bodies were safe and clean while make water available to waterlogged communities.
