Former Member of Parliament for the Subin constituency in the Ashanti Region, Eugene Boakye Antwi, has expressed his disapproval of the committees established by the (NPP) to investigate its historic defeat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections.

Speaking during an interview on Asempa FM, monitored by MyNewsGh, Antwi did not hold back in criticizing the party's approach to addressing the loss.

When asked about the committee headed by Mike Ocquaye, tasked with delivering its findings in three weeks, Antwi confirmed his awareness of its mandate but questioned its efficacy. "We all know why the NPP lost," he said. "These reasons have been discussed on numerous party platforms already.

I don't understand why we need a committee to tell us what we already know." Antwi's main concern centered around the appointment of Mike Ocquaye as the committee's leader. "How do you ask the very person who played a significant role in the defeat to investigate what went wrong?" he asked.
