Mahama stated in a public address. "There is no justification whatsoever for the unprovoked violence against civilians." The MP emphasized the importance of safeguarding civilian spaces from military interventions, noting that such actions should only be taken when situations escalate beyond control.
The incident, which occurred in Walewale, a town in the North East Region of Ghana, left dozens of residents injured.
