The Minority in Parliament has urged former government officials to boycott any interactions with the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, describing its activities as unconstitutional and a breach of Ghana's legal framework.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, January 15, the Suame MP, John Darko, criticised ORAL's operations, stating that they undermine the mandates of established institutions such as the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID), the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), and the Office of the Special Prosecutor.

Mr Darko argued that the overlap in responsibilities between ORAL and these institutions compromises their effectiveness. "No serious country will entertain anything such as this," he remarked.

Advising former officials, Mr Darko said, "Our advice to outgone government officials is clear: boycott any invitation from this so-called ORAL team.
