The Minority in Parliament has raised serious concerns about the conduct of Bernard Ahiafor, the Chairman of the Appointments Committee, during the vetting of ministerial nominees.
According to the Minority, Ahiafor was protective of the nominees and displayed extreme partisanship, hindering a thorough vetting process.
The Minority accused Ahiafor of denying both the Ghanaian people and the minority members of the committee the opportunity to conduct a diligent vetting of the nominees.
They claimed that Ahiafor's actions were a significant obstacle to transparency and accountability.
