The National Democratic Congress(NDC) has filed an application challenging the results declared for the Obuasi East, Ahafo Ano North and Ahafo Ano South West parliamentary elections.
Speaking to Channel One News on Wednesday, January 15, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Augustus Nana Akwasi Andrews emphasised that the party is confident that their candidates will emerge victorious once the court reviews the matter.
The application filed by the NDC seeks to set aside declarations made by the Electoral Commission(EC) regarding the Obuasi East, Ahafo Ano North and Ahafo Ano South West seats.
The party pledged to pursue the matter until what they describe as justice is served.
