The Bibiani District Court has remanded Loris Afful, a 48-year-old mason, into police custody following his alleged involvement in a violent altercation with his ex-girlfriend, resulting in him biting off her upper lips.
Afful, also known as Kofi Atta, was charged with causing harm after the incident at Atronsu in the Western North Region of Ghana.
According to a GNA report, Afful went to his ex-girlfriend's room in an attempt to reconcile, but she rejected his advances and ordered him to leave.
This led to a heated confrontation, during which Afful bit off her upper lips.
