GLICO General Insurance Company Limited has donated medical supplies and a cash amount of GH¢40,000 to the Tema General Hospital to pay for the medical expenses of some patients.

The gesture is to improve the quality of care for patients requir­ing intensive medical attention, particularly those in need of respi­ratory support.

Presenting the items at the hospital last Friday, the Managing Director of GLICO General, An­drew Achampong-Kyei, expressed the company's dedication to social responsibility. "As a company, we understand the importance of healthcare in the lives of Ghanaians, and we are proud to contribute in a meaning­ful way," he stated.

Mr Achampong-Kyei indicated that the suction machines would support the hospital in its life-sav­ing work, and the financial assis­tance would ease the burden on patients facing financial difficulties. "With the festive season upon us, it's important for everyone to join their families and celebrate together.
