President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has assured the people of Bawku that he will prioritize their peace and ensure that they are not challenged as president.

He made this known when he paid a visit to the palace of the Bawku Naaba Zug-Raan Naba Azoka II.

To him, Ghana needs peace because the citizens should feel safe to go about their duties and that is what he will ensure. "I will appeal to you to exercise patience and restraint and to let you know that I am apprised of the issues and I'm going to deal with it.

I can assure you, have trust in this administration that by the grace of God permanent peace is going to come back to Bawku," he said.
