President has reaffirmed his commitment to restoring peace in the Bawku area, stating that it is one of his topmost priority.
He gave the assurance that his administration will work tirelessly to bring a lasting peace and stability to the area.
In a video shared on X, by TV3, on January 14, 2025, the president said, "During the campaign, I stated that if God granted our desire and I was elected president, bringing peace to Bawku was going to be one of my number one priorities.
So, today is exactly one week when I was sworn in at the Black Star Square, and it's my first major assignment outside Accra.
