Kwaku Ansah-Asare has strongly criticized the government's establishment of the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) committee, questioning its necessity and accusing it of serving political interests rather than addressing corruption effectively.

Speaking during an interview on Joy FM's Super Morning Show on January 14, the former director of the Ghana School of Law, not mince words in expressing his scepticism about the initiative. "They may mean well, but from my perspective, ORAL is just about settling political goals.

We don't need that sort of thing," he stated.

The ORAL committee, introduced under President John Dramani Mahama's administration, was tasked with recovering public funds allegedly misappropriated or stolen by individuals and entities.
