Two suspected armed robbers were lynched by residents of Manso Watreso in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region after an attempted robbery targeting gold miners.
The incident occurred on Monday, January 13, 2025.
The armed men reportedly blocked a road in the area to ambush miners, managing to steal 30 pounds of gold, GH¢11,000, and a car key.
However, their plan was partially thwarted when residents, acting on intelligence, intervened.
