Omotola expressed gratitude for the support and concern she has received from her fans, stating, "First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you who have reached out with kind words, prayers, and love.
Your thoughtfulness means the world to me." She acknowledged the overwhelming concern sparked by the wildfires and clarified her current situation.The actress further confirmed that her family and she are safe, despite rumors suggesting that she had to leave the United States due to the fires. "To clarify and set the record straight: My family and I are safe," Omotola wrote.
She further explained, "I have been in Nigeria since December 2024 and am still here presently." Omotola urged media outlets and individuals to correct the misinformation that had circulated, noting that her travel to Nigeria was unrelated to the fires.
Although she is currently in Nigeria, the actress' heart remains firmly with Los Angeles during this challenging period. "It is not just a city to me-it's a home, a community, and a place where countless dreams continue to fly," she shared.
