The plaque on the statue of the late former President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, at the former president's resting place, Asomdwee Park, which was destroyed, has been repaired.
The details of the earlier plaque that was destroyed read, "This was unveiled by His Excellency , President of the Republic of Ghana, and assisted by Samuel , Founder and CEO Atta-Mills Institute." The new plaque has the inscription, "Here lie the mortal remains of Professor John Evans Atta Mills, 21 July 1944 - 24 July 2013, President of the Republic of Ghana, 07 January 2009 - 24 July 2012." The new development was shared by the Chief Executive Officer of the Atta-Mills Institute and former Deputy General Secretary of the (NDC), Samuel .
