Dr Stephen Wengam, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, recently shared heartfelt reflections on his relationship with former President John Dramani Mahama, highlighting the significant milestones the Mahama family has marked at his church over the years.
In an exclusive interview with Keminni Nyamanni Amanor on TV's Hot Issues monitored by MyNewsGh, Wengam recalled how the Mahama family celebrated their 15th and 30th wedding anniversaries at the church, renewing their vows in front of their spiritual family. "It's been a privilege to see them come back to our altar to renew their vows twice-on their 15th and 30th anniversaries," Wengam shared.
He went on to explain that all of the Mahama children were also baptized in the church, underscoring the deep connection the family has with their spiritual home.
