Dr Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, has always maintained a clear boundary between his spiritual leadership and political involvement.
In a recent interview, Wengam spoke candidly about his relationship with President John Dramani Mahama, as well as the responsibilities he carries as a spiritual guide to politicians in his congregation.
Wengam acknowledged the complex nature of his position as a pastor to a political figure, particularly someone as prominent as Mahama. "With this position comes immense responsibility," Wengam explained. "As his home church, we share in both his achievements and his challenges.
