The running mate of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, says his flagbearer is not a corrupt person and has maintained a spotless record throughout his public career. According to him, Dr Bawumia has never faced accusations or investigations related to corruption. Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch on August 18, he said "In his public life, he has never been accused of corruption and in his public life. He has never been investigated for corruption.  I am sure and certain that you are giving an honourable man a chance to continue. No matter what the naysayers say, he is not corrupt.
