Nana Boadi Amponim Obodade III, a traditional leader and vocal public figure, has called out former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over his reluctance to relinquish a chair he often used during public events.
According to the chief, the chair, which has become a symbolic fixture of the former president's tenure, could end up in a museum unless there is clarity regarding its payment.
Speaking during an interview, Nana Boadi Amponim Obodade III noted, "Nana Addo seemed visibly uncomfortable at the thought of giving up the chair he frequently uses at events.
It has become somewhat iconic, but if he didn't pay for it, we'll have no choice but to take it to the museum."This remark has sparked debates on social media, with many questioning the ownership of the iconic chair and whether it holds any cultural or historical significance warranting such discussions.
