Correspondence from Central Region A tragic accident has occurred at a galamsey site in Twifo Mmaa Baasa, located in the Twifo Atti Morkwa District of the Central Region, claiming the life of a 22-year-old SHS graduate, Nana Yaw.
Eyewitnesses report that Nana Yaw was riding a motorcycle while allegedly speaking with his girlfriend on the phone when he lost control of the vehicle.
Just a few meters from Twifo Mmaa Baasa, Nana Yaw failed to brake and collided with another motorcycle, causing him to fall off his bike and sustain a fatal neck injury.
He was rushed to the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
