Boakye Agyarko has issued a clarion call for unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), urging members to set aside their differences and work together toward a shared goal of reviving the party.
In a Facebook post, he warned that internal divisions and apathy would only serve the interests of opponents eager to capitalize on the party's current vulnerabilities. "We must, by firm and iron resolution, gather ourselves together," he declared. "Otherwise, we will give our opponents opportunity and time to deploy their machinations against us." The veteran politician did not shy away from addressing the party's defeat in the December 2024 elections.
Agyarko described the loss as painful but emphasized that it should serve as a rallying point for members to forge a stronger and more unified front.
He highlighted the critical importance of solidarity, stating, "Our tenacity of purpose and undying love for our party provides a sure basis upon which practical and reassuring thoughts and plans may rest." In his speech, Agyarko expressed confidence in the resilience of the NPP, pointing to the party's strong foundation and its ability to overcome challenges in the past.
