The Majority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has called on (NPP) parliamentary candidates and party members to intensify their efforts in the run-up to the 2024 elections. He urged them to campaign vigorously to secure decisive victories in both the presidential and parliamentary races. Addressing the challenges faced by the current Akufo-Addo administration due to the near-equal number of seats in Parliament, Afenyo-Markin stressed the importance of avoiding a repeat of this situation under a potential Bawumia presidency.
