Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo Markinhas described the security team put together by John Dramani Mahama as a failure.
According to him, even though the President has given them the power to ensure the safety of all Ghanaians, they have failed woefully at their jobs.
He cites attacks on Civil Servants, and government agencies by thugs belonging to the National Democratic Congress. "Concerns raised by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana regarding these attacks cannot be ignored nor can we overlook the apparent failure of the police to suppress the situation and prosecute offenders.
Indeed the President's five-member internal security committee has thus far proven either incapable or unwilling to subdue this wave of lawlessness.
