Lawyer Sulley Sambian, Acting Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), has strongly refuted allegations circulating on social media about suspected land sales, auctioning of serviceable vehicles, and missing assets.

Addressing the accusations, he described them as "pathetically lame" and lacking depth but chose to respond "out of respect for those genuinely concerned." Speaking on the alleged sale of NDA lands in Accra and Tamale, Lawyer Sambian clarified that the authority had explored partnerships to develop its liaison office property at Cantonments.

However, the process revealed the absence of proper land title documents. "The Lands Commission offered a 1.2-acre lease to the Authority," he explained.

He further dismissed claims of Tamale lands being sold, stating, "Nothing of the sort has happened." Regarding the disappearance of 24 motorbikes, Sambian noted that stock-taking efforts during his tenure exposed the issue. "I directed my Deputy CEO to report the matter to the police, and arrests were made," he stated.
