Local Government Minister Adjei Mensah Korsah believes that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has chosen a ticket with the people of Ghana in mind. He says the NPP's ticket for the 2024 elections gives the best hope, and the NPP are content with their choice. Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress are of the view that the NPP is presenting a weaker front ahead for the 2024 elections. They describe Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as incompetent and Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as arrogant. However, addressing these, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah indicated that the country is in a political season, and therefore, he does not expect opponents to sing praises of their candidates.
