The Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to vet three ministerial nominees today, Monday, January 13, 2025.
The nominees, Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, John Abdulai Jinapor, and Dr Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, have been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama for the positions of Finance Minister, Energy Minister, and Attorney General and Minister for Justice, respectively.
The vetting process will commence at 9:00 am in Committee Rooms 1, 2, and 3 of the New Administration Block at Parliament House.
This follows President Mahama's submission of the names to Parliament on January 9, 2025, in accordance with Article 78 of the 1992 Constitution.
