Reports indicate that Techiman Market has been razed down by fire.
According to reports, the fire has engulfed numerous shops, destroying properties worth millions of cedis.
Although the cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained, Divisional Officer I (DOI) Alex King Nartey, from the GNFS Public Relations Department, confirmed that firefighters are doing their best to contain and douse it.
However, in videos that have gone viral, eyewitnesses indicated that the fire service does not have a tank to fight the fire and does not have water.
