The Majority Leader of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has called on the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidates (PCs) to shift their focus from reconciliation efforts to actively securing the party's victory in the upcoming elections. Speaking at the NPP's manifesto launch on Sunday, Afenyo-Markin emphasised the importance of unity and strategic campaigning to ensure the NPP retains power. He urged the Parliamentary Candidates to fight for the party by campaigning day and night to ensure that they won the December polls. He also urged parliamentarians to work hard by availing themselves for parliamentary business. "Don't give up, let us work together… To our parliamentarians, I say Kudos to all of you. I thank you for your support through your steadfastness and resilience although we have a very tight parliament. "We have a majority of one…But we have a few months ahead of us.
