Several people sustained injuries after gunmen ambushed a bus and opened fire on passengers at Pusi-Namoo, a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
The attack occurred around 8:00 PM on Saturday as the bus was travelling from Garu in the Upper East Region to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The assailants reportedly targeted the vehicle, leaving numerous passengers with severe gunshot wounds.
Emergency services swiftly transported the injured to the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga for urgent medical care.
