Scores of people were injured when gunmen are reported to have opened fire on a bus at Pusi-Namoo, a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
According to a citinewsrrom.com report, the bus, traveling from Garu to Kumasi, was ambushed around 8:00 PM on Saturday January 11, 2025.
The injured have been transported to the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolgatanga for treatment.
The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but sources suggest it may be linked to the ongoing Bawku Conflict.
