The Ghana Police Service says it has restored calm in Ejura following a mob attack on the Ejura Police Station in the early hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Police explained that the incident arose after the arrest of a suspect at around 10:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025, for an alleged case of stealing.
The suspect was detained in police custody pending further investigations.
It added that at approximately 2:20 am, the suspect complained of illness and was promptly taken to the Ejura Government Hospital for medical attention.
