Calm has been restored in Ejura by the Ghana Police Service after a mob attacked the Ejura Police Station in the early hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025.
The unrest was triggered by the arrest of a suspect on Friday evening, January 10, 2025, at around 10:00 pm.
The suspect, detained for alleged theft, was held in custody for further investigations.
At about 2:20 am on Saturday, the suspect fell ill and was rushed to the Ejura Government Hospital for medical attention.
