U-20 World Cup winner Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has affirmed the authenticity of SAS Finance Group's invitation to the 21 players of Ghana's historic 2009 Black Satellites U-20 World Cup-winning team to collect their matured investment cheques.

This follows the completion of a 15-year investment initiated on January 4, 2010, by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Each player was allocated GHc10,000, amounting to a total of GHc210,000, which matured on January 4, 2025.

In an interview with Channel One News, Agyemang Badu confirmed that some players have already visited the SAS office to collect their cheques, and he plans to do the same in the coming days. "I have the document, we wrote a letter to the federation to alert the federation that the investment has matured and it is time for the guys to come and get whatever they deserve.
