The Deputy General Secretary of the , Mustapha Gbande, has made serious allegations against the immediate past government.
In an interview on Onua FM's Yen Nsempa on January 9, 2025, Mustapha Gbande alleged that the immediate past Akufo-Addo government had bugged the Jubilee House, the official seat of the presidency.
He claimed that the action was an attempt to spy on and gather information from the newly inaugurated President John Dramani Mahama administration. "We had intel that as they were exiting the presidency, they were bugging the building so that they can have more information from the NDC and the incoming government.
They are evil-minded people," he said.
