At the Annual National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama reassured Ghanaians about his government's commitment to ensuring a stable power supply, despite concerns over potential power outages.

Mahama emphasized that his administration is working diligently to prevent a return of the frequent power cuts, often referred to as "dumsor."Speaking to thousands of attendees at the convention in Gomoa Pomadze, near Winneba Junction, Mahama acknowledged the energy sector's challenges, including fuel shortages for power plants and delays in the maintenance of the West African Gas Pipeline.

He assured the public that steps are being taken to avoid power shortages and guarantee a reliable electricity supply."We are assuming office at a critical time in our nation's history.
