Sammi Awuku has assured Ghanaians that the party's relatively small representation in Parliament will not impede its ability to function effectively.
In an interview with Joy News, Awuku, who serves as the Deputy Communications Director and National Organiser for the NPP, expressed optimism about their strategic approach to legislative responsibilities.
Awuku, who also represents the Akuapem North constituency in Parliament, acknowledged the challenges that come with reduced numbers but emphasized the party's determination to overcome them. "Ghanaians should expect nothing less than a vibrant and resilient opposition," he stated confidently. "We understand the expectations of our supporters, and we are committed to ensuring our voice is not drowned out, even in the face of numerical disadvantage." The former MP explained that the party is focused on fostering unity and coordination within its ranks to effectively represent its constituents' interests. "It's not about how many we are; it's about how well we organize and deliver," Awuku remarked.
He added that the NPP is fully aware of the critical issues facing Ghanaians and will work tirelessly to hold the government accountable.
