The Paramount Chief of Keta, Togbui James Ocloo V, has expressed disappointment with former President for failing to deliver on his promise to construct a port in Keta.

Speaking in an interview with Channel One TV, Togbui Ocloo V highlighted the slow progress of the project, which began in 2019 with the appointment of a director.

Despite assurances from the government, work on the port has stalled, with office buildings still at the foundation stage after several years.

Togbui Ocloo V called on President-elect John Dramani Mahama to prioritize the completion of the Keta Port project, stressing its importance for job creation and economic growth in the region.
