Philip Fiifi Buckman, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwesimintsim in the Western Region, has criticized the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration for neglecting the region's development over the past eight years.
According to the MP, the only project completed under the NPP in the region was a sculpture of President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.
Speaking in an interview on Onua TV on Wednesday, January 7, 2025, the MP pledged a renewed focus on completing unfinished projects in the region. "When former President Mahama visited Kwesimintsim, I told him there was no significant project in the Western Region completed by the NPP government, apart from Akufo-Addo's statue.
We are committed to completing all projects that were started but left unfinished," onuaonline.com quoted him to have said.
