The African Centre for International Affairs (AfriCIA) has congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his election as President in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The Centre said, "This remarkable victory is not only a testament to your enduring leadership and vision but also a reflection of Ghana's unwavering commitment to democratic principles and good governance." A statement issued in Accra by Joseph Boateng, the Executive Director, AfriCIA said the Centre highly acknowledged the victory of the first-ever female Vice President of Ghana, Prof.
Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.
It said as an organization dedicated to advancing diplomatic excellence and fostering sustainable global governance in Africa, AfriCIA celebrated Ghana's continued role as a beacon of democracy on the continent. "Your election reaffirms the nation's democratic credentials and inspires hope for a future marked by unity, justice, and progress," it added.
