Two people were brutally murdered in a robbery attack at Wallembelle, a village in the Sissala East municipality of the Upper West region, citinewsonline.com reports. The robbers, who arrived on two motorbikes, stormed a mobile money shop, firing sporadically as they ransacked the premises and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, August 17, 2024, around 7:00pm when four armed men targeted a mobile money vendor in the village. A survivor of the attack, who chose to remain anonymous, recounted the terrifying ordeal. After looting the shop, two of the robbers struggled to start their motorbike, delaying their escape.
