The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is facing growing discontent among its supporters following events surrounding the Techiman South parliamentary elections.
Many party supporters have expressed feelings of betrayal, accusing the leadership of failing to protect their votes and allowing what they describe as an injustice to persist.
The controversy stems from the 2020 parliamentary election in Techiman South, where Christopher Bayere Basongti of the NDC was initially declared the winner by some provisional results.
However, the tides shifted when a court-ordered recount of votes favoured Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
