The presidential running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December 7 general elections. According to Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the NDC, under the leadership of former President John Mahama, led the country into a period of darkness during their time in power. He made these remarks during the NPP's health walk in Takoradi on Saturday, August 17, ahead of the party's manifesto launch. He explained that the NPP, under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo, has alleviated many of the challenges faced by Ghanaians, and urged voters not to allow the NDC to take the country back to those difficulties. The election we are heading into in 2024 is crucial.
