Reflecting on the current state of affairs, President Mahama acknowledged the significant economic difficulties endured by Ghanaians in recent years.

Speaking at his inauguration as the 6th President of the 4th Republic, President Mahama underscored the importance of governance that delivers tangible benefits to the people. "If democracy is to be celebrated as the best form of governance, then its outcomes must be evident in the daily lives of citizens," he remarked.
