Sudan coach Kwesi Appiah is optimistic about his team's chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Sudan currently leads Group B in Africa's World Cup qualifying campaign after an emphatic 3-0 victory over South Sudan in Juba.

This result pushed Sudan to the top of the group with 10 points from four games, two points ahead of Senegal.
