The community of Simiw in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) District witnessed a remarkable health outreach initiative organized by JF ITHAND FIRM CARE FOUNDATION.
The exercise, which provided free health screenings and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration and renewal, was a significant milestone in the NGO's mission to promote accessible healthcare for underserved communities.
The event, which took place on Saturday, 28th December 2024, attracted hundreds of residents, including children, the elderly, and vulnerable groups in the community The event, spearheaded by JF ITHAND FIRM CARE FOUNDATION and its dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including Dr. (Med) Samuel Donkor Jnr of the Volta River Authority Hospital in Akosombo, Dr. (Med) Joseph Acquah-Mills of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, and Dr. (Med) Nathaniel Sam of the Sunyani Teaching Hospital.
Their expertise and selfless service were instrumental in the program's success, Offered vital health services such as blood pressure monitoring, diabetes testing, malaria screening, and health counseling.
