The outgoing Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has described the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, initiated by President-elect John Mahama, as a needless endeavour.
According to him, the committee is merely a personal vendetta aimed at undermining the governance of the country. "I condemn, in no uncertain terms, the establishment of the so-called ORAL Committee.
I hold the humble view that it is a needless committee," he said.
He further argued that the committee lacks constitutional backing and is solely intended for personal retribution.
