The Member of Parliament for Asutifi South, , has etched his name in the history books of the country's political landscape, becoming the only Member of Parliament to serve eight terms in Parliament.
Born on February 13, 1957, in Mehame in the Ahafo Region, the same year Ghana attained independence, first entered Parliament in 1992 after winning the parliamentary election for the Asutifi South constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.
He contested the seat again in the 1996 elections and was re-elected, beginning his second term in office as a parliamentarian.
However, Dauda lost the 2000 parliamentary election to his opponent.
