The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has denied claims made by Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, that the NPP approached him to form an alliance in the 9th Parliament.
This follows a Facebook post by A-Plus, in which he stated that Kennedy Agyapong, representing the NPP, had offered him a proposal to join their caucus, including a commitment not to contest the Gomoa Central parliamentary seat in the 2028 election.
A-Plus also revealed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had approached him and invited him for a meeting on January 7, 2025.
He mentioned that while he has friends in both the NPP and NDC, he would ultimately side with whichever party offers the best deal for him and the people of Gomoa Central.
