President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will host President-elect John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House for an official tour on Monday, January 6, as part of the ongoing transition process.
The visit, ahead of the formal handing-over ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, will allow Mahama and Vice President-elect Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang to familiarize themselves with the presidency's facilities and operations, which will serve as their base in the next administration.
President Akufo-Addo's tenure ends on January 7, 2025, with Mahama set to take office following his victory in the December 7 general election.
The swearing-in ceremony at Black Star Square will be attended by dignitaries, diplomats, and various sector representatives.
